New Century Horizon LLC was founded in 2004 by Steven J. D’Angelo, a Manhattan-based business analyst, project manager, and technology consultant with more than 40 years of experience in financial services, real estate, insurance, public sector modernization, and small-business technology solutions.
The firm was formed in part from Steve’s belief that organizations need stronger accountability, better systems, and greater respect for the people who work within them. Earlier in his career, Steve worked in downtown Manhattan during and after September 11, 2001, while employed by Bank of New York. He remained there for nearly seven years and participated in post-9/11 disaster recovery efforts. That experience, along with concerns about the treatment of employees exposed to difficult environmental conditions, helped shape his commitment to responsible management, clear documentation, and practical technology solutions.
Through New Century Horizon, Steve has provided consulting services to government agencies, financial institutions, real estate-related organizations, and small businesses. His work has included Salesforce-based modernization, business requirements, project management, data analysis, workflow modeling, SQL reporting, web applications, .NET-based systems, and operational process improvement.
Steve has worked with organizations including New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, New York City Housing Authority, Merrill Lynch / Bank of America, Deutsche Bank-related commercial real estate initiatives, New York Life Insurance, Bank of New York, Deloitte & Touche, CIT Group, and TIAA.
